Ever since I migrated from Xanga to Livejournal I’ve been wondering about what it would be like to have my own blog.
Particularly after I became one of the VC200 at Textdrive around the beginning of June 2004, I was introduced to the vast and complicated world of content management systems and blogging software.
Depending on how much I like Textpattern, I may end up trying some of the other products out there like WordPress, Drupal, or Mambo. Open Source CMS also looks like a useful resource. I haven’t had time to look too much, just halfway following up on mentions of various things on the Textdrive Forums.
So please excuse the out-of-the-box layout and the lack of customization. I’m still learning!
